Membership Terms and Conditions

Introduction and 30-Day Trial Memberships for CrossFit Full Membership
Initial payment of £45 for a 30-day trial. If you do not wish to continue after the trial period, inform us at info@crossfittamworth.com and no further payments will be taken.
Continuing Membership
After your initial 30-day trial, your membership will transition to full unlimited Platinum membership (please see current pricing). The first payment will be pro-rated for the remainder of the month, with subsequent payments due on the 1st of each month.
- During the first 30 days, you are on a 24-hour notice contract.
- After the initial 30 days, a 30-day notice period applies.
- Returning members enter on a 30-day notice period immediately.
Memberships
By signing up for a membership (adult or child) or a foundation package with CrossFit Tamworth, you agree to a recurring monthly membership on a rolling basis.
- Personal Training Sessions: Require 24-hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Within 24 hours, the full cost applies.
- Billing: Payments are processed monthly via Stripe or Direct Debit.
Terms
1. Foundation Course
After your initial four weeks, the membership transitions to full unlimited membership at the current rates. Payments will be pro-rated for the first month, with subsequent payments on the 1st of each month.
- 24-hour notice applies during the first 30 days.
- A 30-day notice period applies after the initial trial.
2. Payments
- Payments are processed monthly.
- Late payments:
- Services may be suspended after 14 days of non-payment.
- Outstanding payments may be referred to a collections agency, with associated costs borne by the member.
3. Membership Cancellation
- Adult Memberships require 30 days' notice for cancellation.
- Children’s Memberships require 30 days' notice.
- Cancellations must be made via email to finance@crossfittamworth.com
4. Membership Upgrades and Downgrades
- Email finance@crossfittamworth.com to request changes.
- Downgrades require a minimum of 5 working days’ notice before the next billing cycle.
- Upgrades take effect immediately, and fees adjust accordingly.
5. Membership Transfers
Memberships cannot be transferred to another individual.
6. Membership Holds
Holds are available for medical reasons with GP recommendation (e.g., injury or pregnancy).
Non-medical reasons require cancellation and rejoining at current rates
.7. Class Sign-Up
Members must book classes via Wodboard. Cancellations should be made promptly to free up spaces for other members.
8. Refurbishments and Events
The gym may occasionally close for refurbishments, repairs, or to host competitions/events.
9. Gym Etiquette and Conduct
- Respect the facility, equipment, staff, and fellow members.
- Damages to property or equipment must be compensated.
- Members bringing children are fully responsible for their care and actions.
10. Limitation of Liability
- CrossFit Tamworth is not liable for personal property loss, theft, or damage on the premises.
- Liability for negligence, fraud, or personal injury is not excluded.
11. Pandemic Policy
- In case of government-mandated closures, classes will transition to online or outdoor formats.
- Membership fees and notice periods remain in effect.
12. Data Protection
- Member privacy is taken seriously.
